Nuvei to Pay $4.85 Million to Settle FTC Claims It Processed Payments for Scam Merchants
The FTC alleges the Canada-based payment processor handled more than $30 million in consumer payments for an offshore tech support scheme between 2017 and 2023. A proposed order would bar it from serving tech support telemarketers.
